TY .. what lies ahead?

            We began TY last Monday, the 29th of August, and i was put into class Banba , and i am so glad. We have been given a task of making a blog, so i will try my best to give you an enjoyable read. Our class is full of different personalities, and I'm hoping to become closer to girls I wasn't close to in 1st - 3rd Year. TY is brilliant so far, there has already been so many memories, from pilates and photography , to planning our pretend trip around the world in Geography! I've done Art , for the first time since my days of primary school , and boy am i glad i didn't do it for Junior Cert, I'm terrible! However,  our teacher is very helpful, as are my classmates. Like i said, we've been given a Geography project , about going on a world trip, to six different countries. The down side? We've only been given 12,000 euro to spend , and yes.. that is 36 euro a day, without flights and accomodation included! Although it is not real, it's a really fun thing to do and is quite exciting actually!
           In Home Ec, we've been given a task of designing a dress , from any era, any type, but it must be blue, as that is the colour we have been giving. It promises to be fun for our group , as fashion interests alot of teenage girls. The Young Scientist Competition takes place in January, however, we have to think of our ideas now. Unfortunately, it's not going to plan and all our ideas are apparently ' unoriginal ' , but hopefully by the time i write my next blog, we will have an idea of some sort!
           TY.. what do i want to gain from it? I want to mature as a person, learn to work better in groups , get more organised, do well in my projects, a worthwhile work experience , and most of all? FUN . Hopefully i can fulfill these goals. For now, i'm going to take each day as it comes...
